EurActiv’s Public Affairs section extended with new support

EurActiv.com, the independent media portal on EU affairs, has signed a sponsor agreement with Kellen Europe. Kellen Europe, formerly Ernst & Young Association Management, will support EurActiv’s Public Affairs section, which is available at: Public Affairs .

The Public Affairs section currently focuses on Public Affairs strategies and new communication channels. With Kellen Europe’s support, coverage in this section will be extended to issues dealing with “Global approaches”, “Regulation” and “Association Management”. In addition to selected news coverage and investigative surveys, EurActiv’s time-saving LinksDossiers on these issues will provide readers with background information, and examples of methods used by important players, including NGOs, federations, industry, and national governments.

“At Kellen Europe, we understand the changing requirements of associations and the changing environment in which they operate”, notes Alfons Westgeest, Managing partner – Kellen Europe. “The partnership with EurActiv enables us to share information on latest developments and contribute to opening debates on particular issues related to associations.”

EurActiv’s Director of Public Affairs, Philip Springuel explains: “the Public Affairs section is also a meeting point for Public Affairs practitioners in European associations. More than 50 associations use EurActiv to improve their ability to monitor EU policy and communicate directly to EU Actors”.

Content partners for the Public Affairs section include the European Centre for Public Affairs (ECPA), the Berlin-based Politik & Kommunikation, SEAP, Centre for Corporate and Public Affairs (CCPA), and the Journal of Public Affairs.
