ETA are terrorists, not separatists

Sir,

Regarding 'Spain's Zapatero wins second term':

I don't know how you have described the organisation ETA in other articles, but I would like to emphasise that calling it a "separatist" group as you have in this article may lead Europeans who are not familiar with the subject to consider it as just so.

The reality is that it is not a "separatist group", but a terrorist group.

The European Commission has also defined it as such, so this is not just my opinion as a Spaniard. So I would like you to always call ETA "terrorists".

This is not just a question of a couple of words. As they have killed about 1,000 people in Spain, the subject is not so simple.

There is unfortunately a tendency in Europe to call them a separatist association when they are in fact killers. The media should always refer to them in such terms so that Europeans have a clear idea of this.
