Brief - Commission offers new tool to boost cross-border entrepreneurship 

A regularly updated portal managed by the Commission aims to provide up-to-date information about how to launch and carry out business activities in each of the EU member states. 

The 'Your Europe' portal provides both EU-wide as well as country-specific information on themes relating to business life (ranging from setting up a business through to bankruptcy), funding opportunities, public procurement, regulations and financing, business development (technical harmonisation, environment, property rights, etc), taxation, employment rights & social security, as well as market information (business directories and business associations).

A separate section of the portal has been designed to provide citizens with current information on employment, education, social issues and taxation to support their own cross-border movements.
