You replace soda with fruit juice and while the fruit juice gives you more not needed vitamins the kids still get the same amount of sugar. People think high fructose corn syrup is high in fructose – it is no different than sugar cane -its called high fructose because there are two form a lower fructose and a higher fructose fraction. and starch, sucrose all go to glucose and fructose in your body

The IARC itself only looks at hazard level – real risk is hazard x level x exposure frequency. Plutonium is hazardous but I have a very low change of getting cancer from it since I have zero exposure to any level.

The average consumer is exposed to very low levels of active glyphosate and glyphosate is only slightly carcinogenic at very high doses. Its like avoiding an indoor carcinogen by going outside when the sunlight is a much higher risk to you.

meanwhile all this focus on glyphosate means we ignore the highest risk items and encourage farmers to use more toxic herbicides – you are likely causing more cancers by trying to ban glyphosate – that is why this is best left to the government experts that analyze this for a living not academics or activists with a motive that is not to protect people

Any scientific evidence did not support its decision. Moreover, if these pesticides were harmful for biodiversity — they must be removed from the list of approved substances — in accordance with Reg 1107/2009. Another Eu political decision similar to Khrushchev’s Corn campaign. However, probably the readers of Euractive are not aware about Corn campaign story…
