ZAGREB – Restriction ease

The national civil protection authority has extended COVID-19 restrictions for another two weeks but with modifications, such as the possibility to move within counties without e-passes.

”Social gathering, the work of shops and services restricting measures will apply until 4 May,” Interior Minister Davor Božinović said at Saturday’s daily press briefing.

The only measures which will stay for 30 days are the ban on entry into Croatia because such a decision has been made at the EU level, said Bozinovic, adding that the decision on truck transport would also last for that long but that convoys would nevertheless be banned.

An extraordinary ship line for cargo transport between Zadar and Ancona will be introduced on 26 April, while the government will adopt every measure in agreement with epidemiologists, the minister added.
