Orban: No automatic connection between the outcome of the election and the nomination

On his arrival at the European Council building in Brussels on Tuesday, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that there should not be an ‘automatic connection between the outcome of the election and the nomination’.

EU Heads of State and Governments are meeting on Tuesday in Brussels for an informal dinner to discuss the aftermath of the European elections and to start negotiations on who will be the next president of the European Commission.
