Schulz: ‘I’m very optimistic there will be a majority in the European Parliament’

Speaking in a press conference on Sunday before the European election results are announced, European Parliament President Martin Schulz said that he is ‘optimistic’ that there will be a majority in the European Parliament. ‘Seeing all the prognostics we are having a neck to neck race, one that is yet not decided, also in the constellations of the political groups. I’m very optimistic that there will be a majority in the European Parliament’, Schulz said.
