2015 will see the superseding of the Millennium Development Goals by the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), while next year has also been declared as the European Year for Development (#EYD2015).

In the context of the post-2015 financing debate – ranging from the likelihood that many EU member states will miss their ‘0.7%’ target to newer models of development financing – the EURACTIV Institute invites you to a roundtable to explore these questions:

  • What lessons do the MDGs teach us in the context of Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs)?
  • What forms of PPPs should be championed to finance the post-2015 agenda, achieve goals in areas as diverse as agriculture, water and renewables, and how can they be ‘scaled’?
  • What are the ideal transparency requirements for the private-sector in delivering overseas aid?
