Today, Open Government Data is often difficult to access and use by the developer community, let alone the average citizen. In Issy-les-Moulineaux [] and in Paris in the framework of the “Futur-en-Seine Festival”, European Smart Cities projects have come together for 3 days of intensive debates and exchange of good practices to develop new e-Services for citizens at local level across Europe.

Futur-en-Seine Festival [] is an international festival, which took place this year, from June 12th till 22nd in the heart of Paris and in the whole Paris Region, presenting the latest digital French and international innovations to professionals and the general public.

These “European Smart Cities” days have been organised by Issy Media and the European Project Citadel on the Move

Citadel on the Move is a European Union funded project that aims to make it easier for citizens and application developers from across Europe to use Open Data to create the type of innovative mobile applications they want and need.
