The Google.org Impact Challenge on Climate commits €10M to fund bold ideas that aim to use technology to accelerate Europe’s progress toward a greener, more resilient future.
“This kind of support that NGOs like Snowchange are now receiving from Google are transformative. There is not a single national grant on that level that would focus specifically and support our actions for the next two years”, so Tero Mustonen, President of Snowchange.
EURACTIV spoke to participants and organisers of the project about how technology can support the EU’s goal to become carbon neutral by 2050.
