The world’s largest trade fair focused on transport technology, InnoTrans 2024, took place from 24-27 September. The railway sector focused on how technology can contribute significantly to the achievement of the European Green Deal.
InnoTrans 2024 also looked at how the rail sector can play a role in combating rising traffic demand, congestion, and energy supply security. To achieve this, further research and innovation are essential.
Europe’s Rail Joint Undertaking is the new European partnership on rail research and innovation established under the Horizon Europe programme (2020-2027).
