Germany missed EU deadline to submit national climate plan

All EU member states should have submitted their climate protection plans for the coming decade to the European Commission by 31 December 2019. But some missed the deadline, including Germany. EURACTIV.de reports.

Upon request, Germany's energy ministry announced that it had not yet submitted the German NECP. The reason for this was Germany recently changing course when it comes to climate policy, making it necessary for the country to change it. [Olivier Hoslet/ epa]
