“We really need to see a growth investment to really see the change in Europe. That hasn’t happened yet,” said Statoil’s EU Affairs Office Vice President Anders Marvik during the 2015 European Business Summit in Brussels.
Speaking about the Commission’s proposal for an Energy Union, Marvik said that there is a need for the EU executive to prioritise. “The internal energy market has to be completed,” he said. “It will drive energy security, implementation of renewable, enable energy efficiency,” he added.
