According to the Commission, the purpose of the meeting is to “discuss the implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, to explore the possibility of re-launching energy talks in a trilateral format and to discuss wider political concerns”.

The meeting is set to take place on the 26th of August and it will be the first time that both presidents meet since June.
