Former UKIP leader Nigel Farage defended Donald Trump yesterday (1 February) in the European Parliament. Farage criticised the immigration policies of the EU and its member states and supported Trump’s 90-day immigration ban, claiming that it will protect America from terrorism.
British Labour MEP Seb Dance (S&D group), who was sitting behind Farage, was not amused. Dance held up a hand-written sign with the words “He’s lying to you” and an arrow pointed directly at Farage.
Dance was quickly called out by an EU official who made the Londoner take down the sign.
