New French government faces rising pressure over end-of-life bill

France’s new government, led by Prime Minister Michel Barnier, is divided over the end-of-life bill, which was abruptly stalled by the dissolution of the National Assembly in June, but MPs from across the political spectrum are now calling for its adoption.
