How Can Small and Medium Enterprises Power Europe’s Recovery?

99% of the industry landscape in Europe is built on SME’s power and 9 out of 10 enterprises in Europe are actually micro enterprises, as defined by the EU Law (10 employees or less), so the actual influence of this sector is enormous.

In this debate, Antonio Tajani, Italian Politian for Forza Italia and former Vice-President of the European Commission, Arnaldo Abruzzini, Secretary General of Euro Chambers – institution that represents more than 2,000 local Chambers of Commerce and Industry with more than 19 million member companies , and Paul Ruebig, Austrian Politician for the Austrian People’s Party and member of the European Parliament, gather to debate on how the EU can and should leverage the power of SMEs to drive the economic recovery and the ways to get there.
