Comments on: Bulgaria under fire for ill-treatment of asylum-seekers EU news and policy debates across languages Wed, 14 Nov 2018 17:29:28 +0000 hourly 1 By: Julian Stoev Tue, 26 Jun 2018 18:06:43 +0000 The article uses mosleading terminology – refugee instead of migrant.

The article is full of lies – big and small. One example – the article claims about “principles of international law of non-criminalisation of illegal cross-border movement.” But we now know that the law in USA is exactly like this and president Trump recently started it’s “zero tolerance policy” to procecute illegal crossing of US border. Therefore any migrant crossing border in Bulgaria is not different from the one crossing US border. If they prefer to go to Afganistan they should be helped by EU.

Ska Keller:“If they [EU leaders] are going to agree on something [at the 28-29 June summit], it will be something horrible” Obviously Ska Keller do not want a solution of the non-working Dublin.

Commission spokesperson Natasha Bertaud said the EU executive was not aware of ill-treatment of asylum seekers in Bulgaria.

Bulgaria is a poor cointry with not ideal government. BTW I voted for the opposition. And I fully support the work Ska Keller is doing to protect Pirin and Bulgarian nature.

But writing lies will not help Bulgaria and EU.

Having said the facts are:

About: “Broad Bulgarian support for vigilantes ‘arresting’ refugees” – that is a pure lie, there has been outrage in Bulgaria about that, the vigilantes have been arrested and now there is a pending trial.

The main reason refugees don’t stay in Bulgaria and produce a lot of fake stories is simple – obviously they want to stay in France, no one in his right mind would like to return to the poorest country in the EU.

It would be nice if Mr.Gotev writes all the facts when doing articles. Not just 99% BS and 1 fact at the last sentence.
