No, he is respecting the judgement of the Danes. Continuing to create special arrangements for every country is what is symptomatic of what is wrong with the EU.

As a Dane, I think this is exactly the right reaction. We already had a special arrangement we could have used, but people were convinced that we could keep the benefits of Europol without any of the responsibility.

Kippers being mad lunatic is already well-known, but spouting moronic absurdities is truly their very “raison d’etre”

1) the Five Eyes agreement is about international espionnage, say in the european context about bugging the Russians, or stealing industrial knowledge from its european allies, or eventually listening to international terrorist chatters …
but, it has pretty much buggers all to do with common and transnational criminality, which is what Europol is about. like say the fight against organized crime :

a) in the past recent months, a feud between rival gangs have bloodied the streets of Dublin, Ireland, but the bosses are hiding in other european countries, thus necessitating collaboration (which was dully done between Gardai and Guardia Civile, thx to Europol coordination).
c) one way to fight domestic and international terrorism is to target weapons smugglers and ID traffickers, which the Five Eyes don’t waste its time with, but requires ground-level cooperation between multiple countries, here again this is Europol’s mission
b) the european arrrest warrant is also part of the Europol remit
….

2) the Five Eyes is an american espionnage pact
all 4 other signatories are only there to enable the US to operate through their territtory.
London has absolutely no say onto who can join or not. let’s make it clear in a language a Kipper can understand : in the Five Eyes organisational charts, there are 4 puppies who answer tothe voice of their master back in Washington, if the Danes wanted to join, they would negotiate directly with The Source.

The Danes can come & have a chat with the UK & agree an arrangement with us. We are the only EU nation with direct access to the “Five Eyes” which is far more desirable source of intelligence than Europol

Any Nato (Stollenberg) did not disaproved an strong E.U. Army in contrary and should be done it for citizens WE are waiting for a United Defense !
In that European matter it should be as long as wide for Britain . Europe is not Britain . The british Union defense Secretary is a loosy is a dirty naughty looser just beahving cowardly and disgracefull . Remember Winston Churchill was as well defense secretary but he in contrary would immediately approve asn united european Army ..only just to remember .
