Racial Discrimination and Equality Bodies in Sweden

Approximately 55.5% of the population of Malmö municipality had at least one parent born abroad, according to demographic statistics from 2019, and the city has for long been the country’s fault line for racial discrimination and integration issues.

EURACTIV asked citizens in Malmö what they think of racial discrimination and of their experiences with their national equality body, the Diskrimineringsombudsmannen.
