The Macedonian government will donate military material and equipment to Ukraine, according to an announcement of the government’s press office confirmed by Defence Minister Slavjanka Petrovska.

However, it has not yet been said what the donation will exactly include.

The government also instructed the country’s media regulatory, the agency for audio and audio-visual media services of the Republic of North Macedonia, to call on cable operators to ban the Russian government-funded Russia Today and Sputnik channels.

Cable operators have three days to inform the media regulator about the actions it will take. The regulator also told operators that the recommendation to ban the Russia-funded channels comes from the EU, which is banning Russian information channels.
