Portugal recorded 7,497 new daily COVID-19 cases and 59 more deaths on Wednesday. These daily figures are among the highest since the start of the pandemic.
According to the Portuguese authorities, the number of new cases includes the sum of 3,570 cases, resulting from the delay in laboratory reporting.
