The three also announced their full backing to a regional single market at Berlin Process Summit on 5 July. During the ‘Mini Schengen’ conference that took place virtually, the three agreed to meet in Skopje on 29 July to review the progress achieved in the implementation of the initiatives and projects launched so far and sign additional trilateral agreements in relation to implementation of the obligations deriving from the Berlin Process, cooperation, and assistance in response to natural disasters and trade privileges. “We are aware that only through joint work and by endorsing regional cooperation within different regional initiatives, such as a single market, a regional Schengen, green corridors, or the Berlin Process, can we bring our economies closer, improve the wellbeing of our peoples and attract major investments, which otherwise would not be possible for any of the countries individually,” one of the joint conclusions of the video conference wrote, a release from Vučić’s Office reads.
