According to Philip Ebels from Cafebabel, since Theo Van Gogh was murdered and since, more recently, the ‘controversial cartoons’ triggered off an international row, the Dutch multiculturalist model is being questioned by Dutch people as they feel more insecure in their country, leading to tensions between communities.
