EU LEARN project affirms effectiveness of carbon accounting for freight and logistics by companies

Reducing global freight and logistics emissions is critical to reach the Paris Climate Agreement goals. Businesses that calculate emissions can take better decisions to reduce emissions and optimise efficiency.

That’s the message of participants of the LEARN International Workshop, held on 6-7 February in Brussels in partnership with LEARN project partners and ALICE.

The EC-funded LEARN project tested the ‘GLEC Framework’ to calculate logistics emissions with 30 companies and explored how government, research and civil society can support them.
