Austerity measures adopted in the past years have widened inequality in terms of income and wealth within and between EU countries.

  • How can growth contribute to more social fairness?
  • What is the role of fiscal policy in the wake of the latest tax scandal?
  • Is social well-being better than GDP for measuring the state of the economy?
