In fairness farmers vote Tory & thus why would the tories reform the subsidy regime (regardless of Uk in or out). No, this is Mr Gov attempting to curry favour with Uk serfs. Other observation: any meaningful reform would need to address the fact that the current subsidy regieme funds farming methods which directly lead to flooding (which is then compensated by another subsidy system). Tories: perpetually living in La la Land & proposing policies to suit..
