The newspapers can scream all they like, they are wrong.The Brexit process was never going to be easy and Parliament will now have to authorise the triggering of Article 50. This is all they should do as unfortunately the only way to do any deal is to let the government negotiate and then rubber stamp what they agree at the end. The alternative is the two years are up and there is no deal. I expect an early general election, which will probably the most interesting in modern history. The author of the piece is somewhat deluded if he thinks the UK economic news is bad though, he comes across as slightly delusional.

I hope they enjoy what is coming to them – long term economic decline and developing country status – but don’t believe me – read the recent Skidelsky article in the Guardian – very much “when” – not – “if” – assuming current Uk economic policies stay as they are – with EU exit giving that extra little push – goodbye Ingerland..
