“I want to come back here with a clear mandate to reform this organization, to renegotiate Britain’s position within it, and a referundum guaranteed before the end of 2015,” said British Prime Minister David Cameron on his arrival at the EU Council Summit on Friday. This is Cameron’s last European Council before the British general election on 7 May.

EU leaders are meeting in Brussels on Thursday and Friday (19-20 March), in order to discuss Energy Union, tensions with Russia, and the ongoing Greek crisis.
