Norway’s Minister for EU Affairs: Britain will lose influence on TTIP, foreign policies with Brexit

Britain is at risk of losing influence on trade and global issues if it leaves the EU, a topic which has been high on the agenda ahead of the general elections which take place today (7 May).

In an interview with EURACTIV, Vidar Helgesen, Norway’s Minister for EU Affairs, explains how his country, which is not an EU state, but a member of the European Economic Area (EEA), is left out of crucial Europe-related discussions, but still has to implement most EU legislation.
